The diseases that can lead to atherosclerosis are:<br />
- Angina pectoris and myocardial infarction.<br />
- Arteriosclerosis of the extremities (cold hands and feet, difficulty in walking.<br />
- Cerebral Arteriosclerosis (impaired memory, disorientation, etc &#8230;)</p>
<p><strong>General care to prevent atherosclerosis</strong> :</p>
<p>1 .- Diet appropriate, to minimize the excess cholesterol foods (eggs, butter, sausages, offal, pork, beef, lamb and game, seafood, cheeses and semi-dried, whole milk) and triglycerides of saturated, increasing unsaturated (olive oil, seeds, fish, blue or white).<br />
2 .- If you are overweight, the diet should be low in calories.<br />
3 .- If it is hypertension, diet should be low in salt.<br />
4 .- Reduce your consumption of snuff.<br />
5 .- Reduce alcohol consumption.<br />
6 .- Perform moderate physical exercise on a regular basis<br />
7 .- Take medication:<br />
- Take medications at the same time.<br />
- Put them in the light, lest we forget.<br />
- Remember the Time.</p>
