<p>The population plays a key role in the prevention and control of dengue. As this is a problem linked to the domestic sphere, it is critical that commitment from all citizens to eliminate potential mosquito breeding sites and apply a cleaning routine based on bleach.</p>
<p><strong>What is dengue?</strong></p>
<p>Dengue fever is a viral disease that is characterized by a sudden onset. The mode of transmission is through the bite of the Aedes aegypti. This insect is played in places where water accumulates. So it is so important to remove all useless objects that can accumulate water, keep face down buckets, bottles and cans that are outdoors, cover the containers with water, frequently changing water in vases, it is also advisable to clean with water and bleach those containers in which, for reasons of force majeure, be stored water.</p>
<p>To assist with these steps, and Clorox bleach brand Ayudín ®, report and recommend:</p>
<p>Previously clean containers, removing the organic sediment thoroughly before applying the bleach.</p>
<p>Apply a solution prepared with water and bleach (1 cup = 240 ml. In the middle bucket = 4lts. Of clean water) on the inner walls of the containers above the water level, since that is where the host larvae.</p>
<p>Repeat the cleaning routine based on bleach within 7 to 8 days, since bleach degrades the organic load in water.</p>
<p>Use the same solution, prepared with water and bleach (1 cup = 240 ml. In the middle bucket = 4lts. Of clean water), for the following applications:</p>
<p>Water storage tanks.<br />
Wash basins.<br />
Metal pots.<br />
Small ponds without aquatic life.<br />
Tires.<br />
Vessels / Containers flooded.<br />
Other containers with water.</p>
